Frequently asked questions
How many working days are in a year?
A typical year has about 260 to 262 weekdays (Monday–Friday). After subtracting public holidays, most countries land around 250 net working days.
How are net working days calculated?
We count every weekday in the year, then subtract public holidays that fall on a weekday. Holidays that land on a weekend do not reduce the total.
Why does the country matter?
Public holidays differ by country, so the net working days change accordingly. Choose Weekends only to ignore holidays entirely.
